The new updated version of CCR1009 is here.

Important changes:

No switch chip - the device now has only fully independent Ethernet ports, each directly connected to the CPU, thus overcoming the 1Gbit limit previously shared from switch chip ports and taking full advantage of the CPU processing power on those ports.

Combo Port - A 1Gbit software interface with two hardware interfaces - an SFP cage and a Gigabit Ethernet port, allowing you to use any available connection type. It is also possible to switch between the two physical interfaces of RouterOS. Combo ports provide hardware failover in the event of a disconnect.

100Mbps SFP Support - This is our first device to support 100BASE-LX/100BASE-SX/100BASE-BX fiber optic modules as well as standard 1.25G SFP modules.

Higher throughput - Because the ports are now directly connected to the CPU, the new CCR1009 can achieve higher throughput.

The unit comes with a passively cooled chassis, two heat pipes and a specially designed heatsink, so it's completely silent. It is powered by an external 24V 2.5A AC/DC adapter and supports power redundancy if you also power it from the PoE input port.
