The H3C S5820V2 series switch is a data center-level Ethernet switch product independently developed by H3C. As a part of the H3C Virtual Converged Framework (VCF), it greatly simplifies the data center network structure through an innovative architecture and provides high-density 10GE On the basis of /40GE wire-speed forwarding port, it also supports flexible modular programmability and rich data center features. H3C S5820V2 series switches are positioned for high-density access in next-generation data centers and cloud computing networks, and can also be used in the core or convergence of enterprise networks and metropolitan area networks.

High-density 10G access 

As user-side bandwidth continues to increase, switches need to provide higher forwarding performance and 10-Gigabit port expansion capabilities. S5820V2-52Q supports 48 10G Base-T ports and 4 40G QSFP+ ports; S5820V2-52QF and S5820V2-52QF-U support 48 SFP+ 10G/Gigabit adaptive optical ports and 4 QSFP+ ports; S5820V2-48S supports 48 SFP+ 10G/Gigabit adaptive optical ports; S5820V2-54QS-GE supports 4 SFP+ 10G/Gigabit adaptive optical ports and 2 QSFP+ ports, each QSFP+ port can be converted to 4 wire-speed forwarding SFP+ 10G optical ports. Therefore, the S5820V2 series switches can support up to 48 or 64 10 Gigabit ports, meeting the data center's demand for high-density 10 Gigabit access.
