Description

The switch is an indoor variant of the well-known netFiber 9 switch - used by many small and medium ISPs for reliable 10 Gb fiber connections over 100 meters. Equipped with five 1G SFP ports, four 10G SFP+ ports and an additional Gigabit Ethernet port, this is the perfect upgrade to an existing CRS212 setup. You get a modern ARM v7 CPU, 256 MB of RAM and better cooling. New Marvell Switch Chips Bring Extraordinary Performance!

The Gigabit Ethernet port connects directly to the switch chip - so you can enjoy full Gigabit speeds there. It supports PoE input, giving you additional power options in tricky places.

You can install this switch in a standard 1U rack to keep everything organized. It has all the features you'd expect from a rackmount device: the CRS310 supports hardware offload VLAN filtering. Even some hardware offloaded layer 3 routing.

The CRS310-1G-5S-4S+IN is a great tool for anyone connecting indoors over 100 meters while keeping data loss and ping low. If you are concerned about EMI, tampering or eavesdropping, fiber optics can replace copper wires
